Macintosh Icons
To take maximum advantage of the Macintosh capability to customize the user interface, I've been
designing and illustrating desktop icons for several years. Since they're for my own use, they aren't nearly as creative or
diverse as the icons you'll find at the amazing Icon Factory, and they don't
represent a true, unified "set". But should you find them useful, my icons will be available here for you to download, absolutely free!
The Second Edition consists of a number of highly-specialized folder icons. I love using
fun custom icons on my Mac desktop, but I feel that the folders still need to look like folders to preserve the integrity of the Mac OS. These
folder icons were designed with that in mind, and have been updated to use Copland folders and the 32-bit capability of OS 8.
